Pilot Story - Bar M Ranch
Bar M Ranch, a sixth-generation family farm in New Ross, Nova Scotia, is partnering with Ranchflow AI as one of the first pilot sites testing our intelligent livestock monitoring collars. Run by Dave Meister and Christina Caldwell, the farm embodies sustainable, small-scale beef farming rooted in tradition yet open to innovation. Their herd of Black and Red Angus cattle grazes on land settled by the Meister family in 1816, managed today with a strong focus on animal welfare, environmental balance, and hands-on care. Through this pilot, Ranchflow AI’s collar technology helps them gain deeper insights into herd behavior, health, and grazing patterns—supporting their goal of combining modern ag-tech with sustainable, local farming practices.
